Saying Goodbye, the right way

A celebration of life

Celebrating a life lived can be hard when the pain and the grief are so fresh.

I will spend time with you and your family to capture the essence of your loved one so that we can centre the remembrance around this. I would gather memories, information from their achievements, interests and their life journey to truly reflect the person they were.

I aim to be able to help you through this difficult time in a truly compassionate way, planning the ceremony, encapsulating the essence with the right words and including any additional prayers, readings or music you may wish to have. For poem inspiration please see my blog here.

By choosing a celebrant led funeral you will not be tied to any religious or humanistic ceremonies and, together, we can tailor the ceremony to the character and wishes of the individual.

The greatest testament to this is the feedback I have received from mourners such as “you must have known him so well” or “we really couldn’t have done it without you.” These comments truly reflect the empathy and compassion I bring to each celebration of life.

Make it unique

As an independent celebrant my focus is on your wishes.

Should your loved one have any special wishes or a certain location holds a special place in one's heart, I am free to conduct the ceremony wherever you choose, be that graveside, the crematorium, scattering of ashes in a meadow or that special place.

I am also available for additional ceremonies so, should you wish to separate the cremation/burial from the celebration of life you will completely change the atmosphere and ensure a much more personal experience.
